Welcome to LITTLE POINTS Brighton & Hove Acupuncture practice. My name is Drea and I am a certified Acupuncturist. My diplomas in Acupuncture and Naturopathy are from The College of Naturopathic Medicine in London that required four years of study and 430 hours of clinical practice. I am a registered member of both the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP). I have also undertaken additional training in Facial Cosmetic Acupuncture, Acupuncture for Fertility, IVF and pregnancy support, Managing Menopause and Treatment of Musculoskeletal conditions.
I became an acupuncturist because I have always loved working with people and making a positive impact on the lives of others. Growing up with a mother working in complementary medicine meant natural health has always been woven throughout my life since I was young. Continuing a firm interest holistic health I decided to embark on the journey of becoming a practitioner myself after working in SEN for many years. Having first received acupuncture as a child I was aware early on of its healing properties and continued to see the benefits for people around me. Therefore I knew this was the right holistic path for me.
I believe that every person is unique and therefore requires a health plan individual to them. This is also one of the main pillars of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and I strive to give every one of my patients the time and attention they need to find their own healing path - whether this is to support them with a specific complaint or simply to help keep everything in balance. I combine the art of TCM with Naturopathic Principles to create a treatment that is tailored to each person.
